This course offers professional and academic training to the teacher trainees who join the course. It is designed to develop the skills required by preschool teachers to teach the diverse curriculum, and develop specific expertise for making a distinctive contribution to pre-primary practices.

About the course

To facilitate trainee teachers on an understanding of the significance, scope and nature of education in early childhood years.
To acquire theoretical as well as practical knowledge of Early Childhood Education based on Child Development.
To enable trainee teachers to develop the attitudes, skills, insights and teaching strategies necessary to be able to work with young children and parents.
To acquaint trainee teachers with concepts, principles and approaches to curriculum planning and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that advances holistic development of the child.
To establish supportive relationships with children and implement developmentally appropriate techniques of handling children and classroom management.
To support the development and learning of individual children and recognize that children are best understood in the context of their family, culture and society.

Duration: 1 year

Eligibility: 12th Pass Or 10+3 years Diploma from Govt. recognised in Institution.
